Endeavour Egg-case Hunt

Are you ready for a fin-tastic day participating in some jaw-some citizen science?

Come along with Endeavour to one of North Wales' most beautiful beaches, searching for shark egg-cases! After stormy seas Dinas Dinlle is known to have lots of egg-cases washed up and you can also find some weird and wonderful things, from fishing lines and bottle tops to lego and rubber ducks (quack quack!).

Carrying out an egg-case hunt will help to support Project SIARC and the Shark Trust with data collection on our native Sharks and Skates. Have fun collecting the egg-cases whilst also practicing valuable species ID skills as well as learning the differences between shark and skate egg morphology.

There are toilets and a cafe on site. We will be charging ยฃ5 to cover fuel costs.

Time: TO BE CONFIRMED

Due to finding out the tide times for next week, we will update you closer to the date regarding meeting and return times.

Location: Dinas Dinlle

What should I bring?:

- Suitable clothing and footwear!: Dinas can often be quite pebbly so suitable sturdy footwear is advised, as well as plenty of layers (even if you dont wear them all, its always good to have spares!)

- Food and drink: bringing some snacks just in-case is always a good idea (searching for egg-cases can be hungry work!), as well as hydration
