Manifesto: TAKE A LEAP 

Belong 

It can be hard sometimes to be in new surroundings, feeling out of place and overwhelmed. However, sports are a true remedy, they bring people of all backgrounds together. Hence, we plan to build on great foundation and ensure there is increased involvement, and a sense of belonging is created through sports mentorship programmes here at Bangor. 

Be Seen 

Bangor sports and its athletes are incredible and outstanding, through the access to incredible sports and recreational centres, coaches and leaders, they have managed to nurture great talents through great mentoring. Hence, we plan to ensure that Bangor’s athletes are supported, sustained and seen by providing platforms where sports clubs and athletes can demonstrate their skills and increase their visibility. 

Build 

Our predecessors have laid great foundation for Bangor sports through their sacrifice and selflessness, and we ought to build on what they started. Hence, we plan to elevate the level of sports activities and facilities in all aspects by investments and legacy projects to ensure the legacy of Bangor sports is imprinted and cemented for years to come. 

My love for sports is in appreciation and participation. I am grateful to the opportunity that we have in Bangor sports, it has the power to create long lasting friendships to families and a ton of fun, so much so that it led me to believe that I could participate in 5 sports societies simultaneously at my time here in Bangor, but it is difficult, not impossible but difficult. However, I would like to into introduce one more element - construction, it would be an honour if you joined me in shaping and fulfilling what I believe are Bangor sports’ triple Bs. Take a leap.
