Ra'ees Richards: STOP THE THEFT! 

RA'EES AGAINST DISABLISM! Take note (from March 4th 2025) that the university will be taking up to TWO MONTHS to fix the lifts at Pontio cinema! This is a serious concern, especially for the disabled in Lower Bangor who will not have access to the higher floors of the building. 
But, fear not! If you want to complain, the university will be holding an All Students Meeting in the Eric Sutherland Lecture Hall which has no access for wheelchair users! DO THE DISABLED NOT COUNT AS STUDENTS?? WE BELIEVE SO!! 

LECTURERS: ¡PASIWCH! BUREAUCRATS: ¡AFUERA! Do you know about the university's plans to cut 200 jobs, including 80 academic jobs?? While the university forces our lecturers to leave: the university runs over 5 restaurants, a failing night club, a hotel, and a cinema that only shows 4 films a day! 
There is no clarity about how emptying our university of our academic staff will help our university with its "financial shortfall" while the vice-chancellor receives OVER £200,000!! We must keep our lecturers and say '¡pasiwch!' (this is how the Patagonian Welsh say 'come in') to them and say "¡AFUERA!" / OUT, NOW!' TO THE BUREAUCRATS WHO STEAL OUR LECTURERS' MONEY! 

WHERE IS THE WELSH LANGUAGE?? Do you read your e-mails from the university in Welsh? It is clear that they are translated into Welsh through Google Translate! Pontio doesn't show Welsh films either! WE SHOULD NOT FEEL LIKE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS IN OUR OWN COUNTRY! 

WHERE IS ‘BWYD DA’?? With Bwyd Da closing its doors at the end of March, the university has to tackle the upcoming problem. Many of our students rely on this service, so the university should provide an alternative service. 
Doing less would mean THIS IS A UNIVERSITY THAT IS WILLING TO SEE ITS STUDENTS STARVE!! THIS IS A WAR AGAINST THE STUDENTS!! 
We believe we should investigate the feasibility of creating an alternative service to Bwyd Da which will be a voluntary co-operative led BY THE STUDENTS, FOR THE STUDENTS! MORE PUBS, LESS NONSENSE!
