Varsha Vedhanayagam

Manifesto: Dear fellow students,

I am Varsha Vedhanayagam, and I am running for the position of Vice President for Education at Bangor University.

Why Am I Passionate About Education?

Education has the power to transform lives, and I have experienced this firsthand. As a student, I’ve faced challenges—whether it was struggling to access key academic resources or feeling unheard when issues arose. But I also know how the right support system can make all the difference. When I received guidance from mentors and student reps who truly listened, my academic experience changed for the better. That’s why I want to ensure that every student at Bangor University has access to a high-quality, enriching, and supportive educational experience.
