Manifesto: 

Vision Statement: As President of the Student Union Government, I aim to foster an inclusive, sustainable, and thriving student community at Bangor University. I will ensure our university becomes a beacon of excellence in education, sustainability, and community engagement by bridging the gap between students and university management, promoting corporate social responsibility, and enhancing student welfare. 

Key Objectives: 

1. Transparent Communication and Student Engagement: 

• Establish regular town hall meetings between students and university management to foster open dialogue and address student concerns. 

• Create a digital platform for students to voice their opinions, suggest improvements, and stay informed about university policies and initiatives. 

2. Corporate Social Responsibility and Career Development: 

• Collaborate with big brands in Bangor to incorporate their corporate social responsibility efforts into the university through job opportunities, sustainability campaigns, career development programs, and recreational activities. 

• Encourage partnerships between student societies and local businesses to support student-led initiatives and events. 

3. Climate Change Awareness and Sustainability: 

• Launch climate change awareness campaigns and promote sustainable practices within the university community. 

• Advocate for the implementation of green policies and initiatives to reduce the university's carbon footprint. 

4. Community Support and Education: 

• Strengthen ties between the university and the local community by supporting local schools and educational programs through student societies. 

• Organize community outreach programs that promote education, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. 

5. Enhanced Student Welfare and Facilities: 

• Ensure that student accommodation, security, and social services are of the highest standards and meet the needs of all students.
