We can confirm that the University is on target to reduce emissions by 25% as planned by 2025!

We teamed up with the institution to run a campaign which invited people to submit their proposals for how the university could reduce emissions, with over 40 proposals being submitted.

The main areas being focussed on to reduce emissions are energy, travel and waste.

Solutions implemented and being planned include increased solar panel usage on university buildings, energy meters in all university buildings, a cycle-to-work scheme with subsidised electric bikes for staff and reducing the amount of university waste that goes to landfill to 0%.
