Whatโ€™s it about?
This is a march to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia, with a strong focus on standing up for trans rights.

When?
Saturday, May 17th
Meet from 3:00pm

Where?
Weโ€™ll start at Bangor Town Clock and head up the High Street to finish at the Pontio Arch.
Thereโ€™s a detailed route plan in a separate document if you want to check it out.

Rough timings

3:00pm โ€“ Gather at the Clock Tower

3:15pm โ€“ Speeches

3:30pm โ€“ March sets off

Around 4:00pm โ€“ Weโ€™ll reach the end point at the Pontio Arch

Getting around

The route is step-free and uses pavements the whole way. Howvever there will be an incline on the road next to the Catherdral on the way down.

Weโ€™ll only cross one road, using a pedestrian crossing- weโ€™ll wait for the green signal as normal.

Thereโ€™ll be marshals along the route, including someone leading and someone at the back to make sure everyoneโ€™s safe and supported.

Marshals will be wearing hi-vis vests and can be contacted by phone if needed.

Theyโ€™re there to guide and help, but wonโ€™t be stopping traffic.

If you have any questions or specific access needs, feel free to get in touch or chat to one of the marshals on the day.
